About Kaweco:

The manufacture of Kaweco pens (merger of the names of its creators Koch & Weber) was founded in 1883 in Heidelberg, Germany. At the start of the 20th century, Kaweco made Heidelberg the capital of the fountain pen in Germany. In the 1930s, the company launched the piston pen and the now famous Classic Sport model which ensured the success of its workshops until the 1970s. Relaunched in 1995, the Kaweco pen manufacturer continued to manufacture its Kaweco Sport models, Al Sport and Liliput in the pure Art Deco tradition: brass mechanism, fine gold plating and hand polishing.
