Jerry Roupe was an incredibly talented artist with a huge portfolio. She was born in Stockholm in 1919, a year after the end of World War I. As a teenager, Jerry already knew she wanted to "create pictures".

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the fashion for textile prints arrived. In 1960 Jerry designed the “Tomteparaden” (Santa Parade) wall hanging which was a huge success.
