About La Rochère:
Founded in 1475 by Simon de Thysac, a gentleman glassmaker descending from Bohemia, La Rochère is located on the edge of the Darney forest in Haute-Saône.
For 7 generations in the same family, it is the oldest glass factory in Europe still in activity.
The glassworks are recognized as Living Heritage Company.
