Founded in 1475 by Simon de Thysac, a gentleman glassmaker descended from Bohemia, La Rochère has its roots in a glass factory in the Vosges on the edge of the Darney forest in Haute-Saône.
Destroyed and rebuilt several times, the know-how has not been lost. Redefining everyday objects to make them sustainable and essential is what matters to the brand. Through their iconic designs of dragonflies and bees, La Rochère tableware is a must-have.
For 7 generations in the same family, it is the oldest glass factory in Europe still in operation. The glass factory is recognized as a Living Heritage Company. ___
