La Rochere
Founded in 1475 by Simon de Thysac, a gentleman glassmaker descending from Bohemia, La Rochère has its roots in a glass factory in the Vosges at the edge of the Darney forest in Haute-Saône.
Destroyed and rebuilt several, the know-how has not been lost. Redefining everyday objects to make them durable and essential elements is what matters to the brand. Through their iconic designs, whether dragonflies or bees, La Rochère tableware is a must.
For 7 generations in the same family, it is the oldest glass factory in Europe still in operation.
The glassworks is recognized as a Living Heritage Company.
